Tasting Notes

Our 2013 DeLiese Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon was expertly cared for using an old French winemaking style. This leads to a very long lasting, balanced, and highly structured wine. On the palate, flavors of blueberries, spices, and tobacco provide a rich infusion of taste. A long, balanced and smooth finish leaves a memorable impression.

Production Notes

DeLiese Cellars is very fond of this excellent Cabernet. It all started with harvesting grapes from Malibu. We created an “old world,” Bordeaux style Cabernet Sauvignon--meaning that we cut whole berry clusters from our vines to make this wine. These included Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Merlot berry clusters. Together, they produced our “Nevaeh” wine, which is “Heaven” backwards. It truly is a heavenly experience!

Winemaker Notes

Our fruit was hand-selected during harvest and produced with the utmost attention to detail. Upon completion of the fermentation process in stainless steel containers, our Nevaeh was aged in new French Oak barrels for twenty-four (24) months. The wine was then racked twice to allow maturation to proceed naturally. Once completed, the wine was racked again and placed in neutral oak for another four (4) months.
